Professional Profile

Kielan was born in Cuba and moved to the United States when she was twenty years old. She graduated from Florida International University before graduating from St. Thomas University School of Law. While in law school, she interned at a prominent personal injury firm and also was a member of the St. Thomas Moot Court where she argued in front of the 3rd District Court of Appeals.

After law school, Kielan spent several years working as a litigator for one of the largest and premier defense law firm in Florida. She used that time to sharpen her litigation skills and to gain a comprehensive understanding as to how large corporations analyze and value cases. Subsequently, Kielan decided to use her knowledge and skills to represent those injured as a result of someone else’s negligence. Having practiced on both ends of injury claims, Kielan has a unique perspective of this intricate process and can fairly assess her clients’ options to provide adequate representation.

During her years of litigation practice, Kielan has successfully recovered over $30 million dollars for her clients. Her practice focusses on personal injury litigation involving premise liability, traumatic brain injuries, auto collisions, catastrophic injury, and complex products liability.

Kielan is dedicated to helping people of all walks of life who have been wrongfully harmed by the negligence of others and has successfully recovered millions of dollars for her clients.

She is a member of the Florida Justice Association and the Miami-Dade Trial Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice in Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern, Northern and Middle District of Florida.
